Peter I. Blute

Peter I. Blood (born 28 January 1956 in Worcester, Massachusetts) is an American politician. Between 1993 and 1997 he represented the state of Massachusetts in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Peter Blood attended the public schools of his home and then to 1978 Boston College. He then became owner of a sports marketing company. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Republican Party launched a political career. Between 1986 and 1993 he sat as an MP in the House of Representatives from Massachusetts. In the congressional elections of 1992 he was in the third electoral district of Massachusetts in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Joseph D. Early on January 3, 1993. After a re-election he was able to complete in Congress until January 3, 1997, two legislative sessions. He was not re-elected in 1996.

Between 1997 and 1999 acted as blood Executive Director of the Massachusetts Port Authority. After that, he hosted a radio talk show. Since December 21, 2011 blood is Vice-Chairman of the Republicans in Massachusetts.
