Costa di Serina

Costa Serina is a municipality in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region Lombardy with 983 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012).

Geography

The community is a member of the Comunità Montana Valle Brembana. It is located in Val Serina, a side valley of Val Brembana. Districts are Ascensione, Traffic and anti Ambriola. The neighboring municipalities are Algua, Aviatico, Bracca, Cornalba, Gazzaniga, Serina, Vertova and Zogno.

Attractions

• The parish church is dedicated to San Lorenzo and San Ambrogio. It was built in the 18th century in place of a former place of worship from the 12th century. The interior of the church contains numerous works of art, including Frescoes from the 15th century.
