Gorlosen
The municipality is part of the Office Gorlosen Grabow in the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ).

Geography and Transport
The municipality is located in a very sparsely populated area between Grabow (12 km), which is also the nearest rail connection is made, Lenzen ( Elbe) (11 km) and Doemitz (15 km). Federal highway 191 to reach six kilometers north of Gorlosen.

History
Gorlosen was first mentioned in 1317 as Gørløse. The place name comes from the Old Slavic and could be derived from gora and Leşu for Bergwaldort. From the form of settlement ago the place was built as a scattered village.

Church
The Church in Gorlosen is a late Gothic stone building with moldings of brick, which was changed several times in history. Above the west pediment an octagonal, wooden roof tower was built with a pointed helmet later. Inside are built wooden galleries. Noteworthy is the richly painted wooden ceiling with an inscription of 1679th On it are ornaments and medallions with Christ and the Apostles.
