IIHF Continental Cup 2013

The IIHF Continental Cup 2012/13 was the 16th edition of the discharged by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF competition. The tournament was held from September 28 2012 to January 13, 2013.

First round

The matches of the first round took place until September 30, 2012 in Miercurea Ciuc (Romania ) on 28 September. Participants were Metulla Maccabi (Israel ), HSC Csíkszereda (Romania ), HK Vitez Belgrade ( Serbia) and Spor Kulübü Baskent Yıldızları (Turkey).

Group A

Second Round

The second round of the Continental Cup was played in two groups of 19 to 21 October 2012. The venues were Landshut in Germany ( with the Landshut Cannibals, Belfast Giants (United Kingdom), Ruijters Eaters Geleen (the Netherlands ) and the Erstrundensieger HSC Csíkszereda (Romania ) ) and Vaasa in Finland ( with Liepaja Metalurgs (Latvia ), Miskolci Jegesmedve Jégkorong SE (Hungary ), HK Beibarys Atyrau ( Kazakhstan) and host Vaasan Sport).

Third Round

The third round of the Continental Cup was held from November 25, 2012 23. It was played in two groups in the Italian Bolzano and Stavanger, Norway. Directly qualified were the HC Bolzano ( Italy), the Herning Blue Fox (Denmark), Toros Neftekamsk (Russia ) and Metallurg Zhlobin ( Belarus ), the Stavanger Oilers (Norway) and KH Sanok (Poland).

Super Final

The Super Final of the Continental Cup was held from January 13, 2013 from 11. The venue of the tournament was Donetsk in Ukraine. Donbass Donetsk hosts HK and last year's winner Rouen Dragons from France were set for this purpose.
