United States congressional delegations from Kentucky

This list lists all the politicians who have belonged to the House of Representatives of the United States for the state of Kentucky since 1792. Before the state of Virginia had split off, the area of the former County Kentucky from March 4, 1789 until June 1, 1792 by John Brown was represented in the first and second Congress. After his state was founded Kentucky sent first two MPs to Washington; this number increased in 1806 to six. Between 1833 and 1843, including the high of 13 members has been reached. Then moved the number of mandates due to adjustments in accordance with the respective censuses, initially between nine and eleven, before it was permanently lower in 1953 and 1993, finally fell to six. Was chosen almost invariably separated by electoral districts; it was only in 1932 other than a single time all nine seats all across the state ( " at-large " ) were awarded.

With Richard Mentor Johnson, John C. Breckinridge and albums W. Barkley sat three later U.S. Vice- President for the Kentucky House of Representatives.
