Villa di Serio

Villa di Serio is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6630 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. The town itself is located about seven kilometers from the provincial capital city of Bergamo. The designation is the place on the Serio, located on its eastern bank of the place. Already 856 of the place is mentioned in a document as villa ripae serii ("place on the river Serio ").
