It is already mentioned in 1230 in Ratzeburg tithe register, which at that time the diocese of Ratzeburg belonging villages ordered by parishes lists. With up to 2.6 meter thick walls in the tower and the embrasure -like windows, it gives the impression of a medieval fortified church, but is not built for this purpose yet been used as such.

In the years 1734/35, born in Wittenburg satirist Christian Ludwig Liscow was briefly employed as a farm manager.

Until the 1930s, the place was an estate village and was then settled, divided that is for settlement on farmlands.

The manor Körchow is built in the style of an English manor house. Shortly after the Second World War, the upper floors of the older building were demolished, gutted the ground floor and used as a fertilizer stock. Later it became a dance hall for the Agricultural Production Cooperative ( LPG). The newer part was used until 1972 for residential purposes, the church office and the LPG kitchen were housed therein and at times even kindergarten. 1976 this part was removed down to the ground floor and mostly built on one level again. By 2002 Good Körchow was used as a restaurant. 2007 acquired the new owner the good and build it from a regional venue. Good Körchow is also the clubhouse of Griese area eV and with INOSCENO, the Internet and Open Source Center North, since the beginning of 2011 focal point for supporters of open source software.

Zühr

Also Zühr is - as Körchow and Perdöhl - in 1194 first mentioned in Isfriedschen sharing agreement. In the center of the Zühr is built around 1740 for the Saxon- Polish field marshal of Zühlen ( Zühle ) half-timbered manor house. Stored Wide thirteen axes and two floors, the manor house is equipped with a high hipped roof. The center is accented by a tri-part central with a shallow pediment. Above the door is a coat of arms three oak leaves on a piece of branch. It is the coat of arms of the family of Graevenitz who owned the estate Zühr from 1830. In the 19th century, changes were made to the gables and on the park side of the farmhouse. At the subsequently attached porch of the name and the date C. v. G. ( Graevenitz ) can be seen in 1863.

In GDR times, it was used as a retirement home. After extensive renovation work the house is now home to a residential, working and living community of St. Joseph of Caritas Mecklenburg eV

The west of the manor house is located in the adjacent park, a round surrounded by water tower hill, reached by a small bridge. The 1930 Extended former school building is now used as a community center.

Most farms have emerged in the course of military training area expansion due to the translocation to Mecklenburg 1936-1942, which is also seen in its almost the same design.
