Pracht

Splendor is a municipality in the district of Old Churches ( Westerwald) in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Hamm (Sieg).

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages of splendor, Lower Hausen, Wickhausen, Bitzbruch, Hassel, Heinrichshütte and Flemmershof.

History

The location is superb already mentioned in documents in 1300.

By the year 1806 glory belonged to the county of Sayn- ​​Hachenburg. Splendor formed within the parish Hamm a "Send " above its own administrative district, which included the towns of Bitzbruch, Hassel, Lower Hausen and Wickhausen.
