Seelbach bei Hamm

Seelbach at Hamm (Sieg) is a municipality in the district of Old Churches ( Westerwald) in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Hamm (Sieg).

Geographical location

Seelbach is located on the northern edge of the Westerwald, near the Sieg valley, about 2 km south-east of Hamm (Sieg ), near the southern Kloster Marienthal. Other neighboring municipalities are Roth in the Northeast and Breitscheidt in the West.

History

By the year 1806 Seelbach belonged to the county of Sayn- ​​Hachenburg.
