Teemu Selänne

Teemu Selanne Ilmari ( born July 3, 1970 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who plays for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League since 2005. He was also owner of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association Salamat.

Career

Teemu Selanne grew up with his twin brother Paavo on in Helsinki and Espoo. After he first worked in a kindergarten, he played from 1988 to 1992 for Jokerit, with whom he reached the rise in the 1988/89 season in the SM- liiga. During this time Selanne has been selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1988 in the first round in the tenth place of the Winnipeg Jets.
