Arthur County, Nebraska

The Arthur County is a county located in the U.S. state of Nebraska. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Arthur. The Arthur County, as measured by the number of inhabitants, the fifth- lowest in the entire United States.

History

The Arthur County was formed in 1887. It was named after President Chester A. Arthur (1829-1886), the 21st President of the United States ( 1881-1885 ).
