Hamilton County is a county located in the state of Nebraska in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Aurora.

Geography

The County is located southeast of the geographic center of Nebraska, is located in the south about 80 miles from Kansas and has an area of ​​1416 square kilometers, of which 8 square miles is water area. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Polk County, York County, Clay County, Hall County and Merrick County.

History

Hamilton County was formed in 1867. It was named after Alexander Hamilton.
