Ergeshausen

Ergeshausen is a municipality in the Rhein- Lahn-Kreis in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Katzenelenbogen.

Geography

Ergeshausen is located in the Nassau nature park, about three kilometers west of Katzenelenbogen. South of the local situation of the Dörsbach flows through the municipal area.

History

The first written mention of the town in the year 1200. He belonged to the territory of the Counts of Katzenelenbogen and later the Duchy of Nassau.
