Lykershausen
Lykershausen is a municipality in the Rhein- Lahn-Kreis in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Loreley, which has its headquarters in St. Goar.

History
Lykershausen was built between the 9th and 12th centuries. In 1110 it was first mentioned as " Lyggershusen ".

Parish council
The local council in Lykershausen consists of six council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.
Coat of arms
The coat of arms description reads: " A red bar cross ( Electorate of Trier), covered by the figure of St. John the Baptist with a cross bar to his feet, lying on a book, a golden sacrificial lamb ".
Culture and sights
The opposite St. John's Church issued, historical water pump (see Old water pump ( Lykershausen ) ), which had taken over the water supply from 1925 to 1968, is one of the attractions of the municipality Lykershausen.
Structures
St. John's Church (formerly St. Barbara 's Chapel ). On December 4, 1886 Pastor Endres Kamp was the new church to St. John consecrate. Lykershausen heard since 1 July 1914 Pfarrverband Dahlenheim.
