Zimmerschied
Room difference is a municipality in the Rhein- Lahn-Kreis in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Nassau.
Geography
Room difference lies on the southern slope of the Westerwald at an altitude of 460 m above sea level.
History
Room difference was first documented in 1398 and belonged to the parish Dausenau, rulers were different lines of the House of Nassau. End of the 18th century the village belonged to Nassau -Weilburg and from 1806 to the Duchy of Nassau, which was annexed in 1866 by Prussia. Since 1946 Room difference is part of Rhineland- Palatinate then newly founded.
Parish council
The local council in Room difference consists of six council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman location.
