Lautert

Lautert is a municipality in the Blue Country in Rhein- Lahn-Kreis in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Nastaetten.

Geography

The municipality is located on the facilities in the Taunus. To Lautert also includes the settlement Beichert.

History

The first mention Lauterts was in 1102 as Laudroth. The place was from the 13th century to " Vierherrischen " area. 1361 was the name Lutrat. The settlement Beichert was already before the Thirty Years' War to the abandoned village. 1775 came the parish Oberwallmenach with Lautert and Rettershain to land county Hessen. Temporarily occupied by French troops ( "pays reserves" ), the place in 1816 fell to the Duchy of Nassau. Since 1866 part of the Prussian province of Hesse -Nassau, the place in 1946 to the then newly formed state of Rhineland -Palatinate. Since 1972 Lautert belongs to the municipality Nastaetten.

Parish council

The local council in Lautert consists of six council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Coat of arms

The coat of arms description reads: " Split of blue and black with a pushed into wandered half golden tip, is a red orb, front an increasing rotbewehrter and rotbezungter golden lion, behind a golden ax ."

The golden lion in the blue box indicates the affiliation of the community to the Duchy of Nassau, the red orb in gold symbolizes the court seal the four men court Oberwallmenach in inverted colors, belonged to the Lautert to 1775, the golden ax (or ax ) is reminiscent of the clearing the forest to the emergence of the settlement in the 12th century. The blue symbolizes the former because of the numerous dyer "Blue Ländchen" said area.

Economy

In recent decades it came to a decline in the importance of farms. Many workers commute to foreign jobs. The local business includes a machine factory and a construction business.
