Lautert

Lautert is a municipality in the Blue Country in Rhein- Lahn-Kreis in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Nastaetten.

Geography

The municipality is located on the facilities in the Taunus. To Lautert also includes the settlement Beichert.

History

The first mention Lauterts was in 1102 as Laudroth. The place was from the 13th century to " Vierherrischen " area. 1361 was the name Lutrat. The settlement Beichert was already before the Thirty Years' War to the abandoned village. 1775 came the parish Oberwallmenach with Lautert and Rettershain to land county Hessen. Temporarily occupied by French troops ( "pays reserves" ), the place in 1816 fell to the Duchy of Nassau.
