Netzbach

Netzbach is a municipality in the Rhein- Lahn-Kreis in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Hahnstätten.

Geography

The place Netzbach is in the Taunus five miles south of Limburg an der Lahn directly on the border with Hesse. A line kilometers southeast of network stream springs from the cold brook, it flows after three kilometers through the town to the west and opens another three kilometers downstream at Oberneisen in the Aar. A portion of the Aar High Route leads through the Kaltenbachtal.

History

The first known written mention of Netzbach as Nezebach dated to the year 1092.
