Ferdinand Biwersi

Ferdinand Biwersi (* June 24, 1934, † September 4, 2013 in Spain ) was a German football referee.

Ferdinand Biwersi came from Bliesransbach and was a professional detective. As a DFB referee he headed from 1965 to 1978 121 games in the Bundesliga and 1974-1978 a total of 27 games of the Bundesliga 2. In 1971 the line of the DFB Cup final, he was assigned. One of his last games was the 12-0 between Borussia Moenchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund on 29 April 1978. Due to good performance, he was awarded as the best referee of the year in the season 1975/1976 by ​​the DFB.

Between 1969 and 1978 Biwersi was on the FIFA list. During this time he led 16 A- international caps and 26 European Cup games, including the first leg of the UEFA Cup final in 1976 between Liverpool and FC Bruges.
