Frank Tejeda

Frank Mariano Tejeda ( born October 2, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas; † 30 January 1997) was an American lawyer and politician of the Democratic Party, who represented the state of Texas from 1993 until his death in 1997 in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Life

After attending St. Leo 's Catholic School and Harlandale High School Tejeda made ​​1963-1967 his military service in the U.S. Marine Corps and then began studying at the St. Mary's University in San Antonio, which he in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts ( BA) graduated. A subsequent post-graduate studies in law at the Law School of the University of California, Berkeley, he finished in 1974 with a Juris Doctor ( JD) and was active after the subsequent attorney admitted to the bar.

In 1977, he began his political career and he was elected as a Democratic Party candidate for deputies in the Texas House of Representatives, where he served ten years until 1987. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, from which he graduated in 1980 with a Master of Public Administration (MPA ).
