Henry Bonilla

Henry Bonilla ( born January 2, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas) is an American politician. Between 1993 and 2007 he represented the state of Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Henry Bonilla attended until 1972, the South San Antonio High School and then studied until 1976 at the University of Texas at Austin. He then worked as a TV journalist. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Republican Party launched a political career.

In the congressional elections of 1992, Bonilla was the 23rd electoral district of Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he succeeded Albert Bustamante took on 3 January 1993, which was now under indictment for criminal machinations. After six re- election he was able to complete in Congress until 3 January 2007 seven legislative sessions. In this time the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001, the Iraq war and the military mission in Afghanistan fell.

In 2006, Bonilla was not re-elected. He now works for the Washington-based Normandy Group.
