Charlie Gonzalez

Charles A. "Charlie" Gonzalez ( born May 5, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas) is an American politician of the Democratic Party. From 1999 to 2013 he represented the state of Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Charlie Gonzalez is the son of longtime Congressman Henry B. Gonzalez. He attended until 1965, Thomas A. Edison High School in San Antonio and then studied until 1969 at the University of Texas at Austin. After a subsequent law degree from St. Mary's School of Law and was admitted as an attorney of his 1972 he began to work in this profession. At times, he also worked as a teacher.
