Randy Weber

Randy Weber ( born July 2, 1953 in Pearland, Texas) is an American politician. Since 2013 he represents the state of Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Randy Weber attended the Alvin Community College and then studied until 1977 at the University of Houston -Clear Lake 1971-1974. In 1981 he founded his own company, the Weber's Air & Heat Airconditioning Company. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Republican Party launched a political career. Between 1990 and 1996 he sat in the council of Pearland; 2008-2012 he was a deputy in the Texas House of Representatives. In the meantime, he also held several local offices in Brazoria County.

In the congressional elections of 2012, Weber was in the 14th electoral district of Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of not more candidates Ron Paul on January 3, 2013. He sat down with 53 percent of the vote against former Congressman Nick Lampson of the Democratic Party by who came to 45 percent.

Randy Weber is married and father of three children for over 30 years. He also has four grandchildren.
