Walpole G. Colerick

Walpole Gillespie Rick Cole ( born August 1, 1845 in Fort Wayne, Indiana; † January 11, 1911 ) was an American politician. Between 1879 and 1883 he represented the State of Indiana in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Walpole Rick Cole attended the public schools of his home. After a subsequent study of law and its made ​​in 1872 admitted to the bar he began in Fort Wayne to work in this profession. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Democratic Party launched a political career. In the congressional elections of 1878 he was in the twelfth electoral district of Indiana in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Andrew H. Hamilton on March 4, 1879. After a re-election he was able to complete in Congress until March 3, 1883 two legislative sessions.
