1923 German Ice Hockey Championship

The German Ice Hockey Championship 1923 was the seventh staging of these championships.

Eligible to play were all amateur teams of the German Skating Union (DEV ), but not more than two teams of a place or a district. Originally the games in early January should be held in Berlin. Due to adverse weather, they were transferred to the Riessersee in Garmisch -Partenkirchen and were provided there for the 16th and 17th of January. Due to heavy snowfall just a game and there could be discharged. The other two should now take place on 18 February and, after a further laying in Berlin on 20 February. However, the defending champion MTV Munich in 1879 could muster to these games not a complete team, so it stayed on the Riessersee at the meeting of the two Berlin clubs.
