1960–61 ice hockey Bundesliga season

The 1960/61 season of ice hockey league was the third season of the highest German Hockey League. German champion was the EV Füssen, which places two and three occupied the EC Bad Tölz and defending SC Riessersee. In the Relegation to the Oberliga champion ESV Kaufbeuren against VfL Bad Nauheim prevailed, which had thus relegated to the Oberliga.

Compared to last year the number of games was single on a double round of increases of one, so that each club two home and two away matches against other teams played. The last placed athlete had to play against the champions of the league for his place in the Bundesliga at the end of the season in a qualification game.
