1947 German Ice Hockey Championship

For 1947, the first regular German championship was provided in hockey after the Second World War.

Because the winner should participate in regional championships of the Western occupation zones, including Berlin.

Hessian Championships

In the Hessian Championships, the VfL ​​Bad Nauheim and the SC Forsthausstraße Frankfurt qualified for the West finals. The third participant of the Hessian Championships was the SC 1880 Frankfurt.

West finals

In the West finals, the VfL ​​Bad Nauheim prevailed before the Stuttgarter EC, the EC Schwenningen and SC Forsthausstraße. Bad Nauheim was later disqualified because of the use of unauthorized players, Stuttgart reached the next round.

Bavarian Championship

The final of the Bavarian Championship won the SC Riessersee against the ESV feet with 4:3. Other participants included the HC Augsburg, the SC Munich, Munich EV and EV Tegernsee.

In the Berlin Championships, the SG Eichkamp won in front of Tempelhof SG and SG Pankow. Northwest Championship
