Defender of the single were Roger Federer in the men's and Venus Williams in the women. In the men's doubles were Arnaud Clément and Michaël Llodra, in women's doubles Cara Black and Liezel Huber, the defending champion. Jelena Janković and Jamie Murray were the defending champions in the mixed doubles.
In the men's singles first won Rafael Nadal in the finals and defeated Roger Federer, who had decided the last five Wimbledon tournaments for themselves. Defending champion Venus Williams won the women's singles. In men's doubles, Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic won. The women's doubles decided Serena Williams and Venus Williams for themselves. The title in mixed doubles won Samantha Stosur and Bob Bryan.
