Adams County is a county located in the state of Indiana in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Decatur.
Geography

History
The Adams County was formed on 1 March 1836. It was named after John Quincy Adams, the sixth President of the United States. The county courthouse still in use was built in 1872-73.
