Wabash County (Indiana)

Wabash County is a county located in the state of Indiana in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Wabash.

Geography

The County is located in north-central Indiana and has an area of ​​1091 square kilometers, of which 20 square kilometers are water surface. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Kosciusko County, Whitley County, Huntington County, Grant County, Miami County and Fulton County.

History

Wabash County was formed on February 2, 1832 from portions of Cass County and Grant County. It was named for the Wabash River.
