Isle of Wight County is a county located in the state of Virginia in the United States. In the 2000 census, the county had 29 728 inhabitants and a population density of 36 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Isle Of Wight.

Geography

Isle of Wight County is located in southeastern Virginia, is removed from the Atlantic Ocean in the south about 20 miles from North Carolina, in the northeast about 25 km and covers an area of ​​940 square kilometers, of which 121 square kilometers are water surface.
