Pulaski County (Virginia)

Pulaski County is a county located in the state of Virginia in the United States. In 2000, the County had 35 127 inhabitants and a population density of 42 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Pulaski. The county is one of the Dry counties, which means that the sale of alcohol is restricted or prohibited.

Geography

Pulaski County is located in the central southwest Virginia and has an area of 854 square kilometers, of which 23 square kilometers are water surface. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Montgomery County, Floyd County, Carroll County, Wythe County, Bland County and Giles County.
