Prince Edward County, Virginia

Prince Edward County is a county located in the state of Virginia in the United States. In 2000, the County had 19,720 inhabitants and a population density of 22 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Farmville.

Geography

Prince Edward County is located just southeast of the geographic center of Virginia and has an area of 916 square kilometers, of which three square miles are water. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Cunmberland County, Amelia County, Nottoway County, Lunenburg County, Charlotte County, Appomattox County and Buckingham County.
