Roanoke County, Virginia

Roanoke County is a county of Virginia in the United States. In 2000, the County had 85 778 inhabitants and a population density of 132 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Roanoke.


Roanoke County is located in southwest Virginia, is located in the southwest about 30 miles from West Virginia and has an area of 650 square kilometers without significant water surface. The County is divided into five administrative regions: Catawba, Cave Spring, Hollins, Vinton and Windsor Hills.
