Rockingham County (Virginia)

Rockingham County is a county in the United States Virginia United States. In 2000, the County had 67 725 inhabitants and a population density of 31 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Harrisonburg.

Geography

Rockingham County is in the northwest of Virginia, cross to the west by West Virginia and has an area of ​​2210 square kilometers, of which six square kilometers of water surface. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Shenandoah County, Page County, Greene County, Albemarle County and Augusta County.

History
