Jim Renacci

James B. "Jim" Renacci ( born December 3, 1958 in Monongahela, Pennsylvania) is an American politician of the Republican Party. Since January 3, 2011, he is a member of the House of Representatives of the United States for the 16th Congressional District of the State of Ohio.

Biography

The son of a railway worker and a nurse was Jim Renacci in Monongahela, a suburb of Pittsburgh, was born. At the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he received his degree in business administration. He then became a Certified Public Accountant. Renacci founded several accounting firms, with whom he recorded a million - assets. Currently, his fortune is estimated between 35 and 50 million U.S. dollars. He is co-owner of the Columbus Destroyers, a football team of the Arena Football League. He is also co-owner of the Lancaster JetHawks, a baseball team in the California League.

In the elections for the House of Representatives of the United States in 2010, he was elected as a representative of the 16th district of Ohio, succeeding John Boccieri in the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2012 he was confirmed in office. He is a member of the United States House Committee on Financial Services.

Renacci is Roman Catholic faith and lives with his wife and three daughters in Wadsworth.
