Zack Space

Zachary T. " Zack " Space ( born January 27, 1961 in Dover, Ohio ) is an American politician of the Democratic Party. Of 3 January 2007 to 3 January 2011, he was a member of the House of Representatives of the United States for the 18th Congressional District of the State of Ohio.

Biography

Space was born in Dover. He studied at Kenyon College and Ohio State University law. In 1986, he opened with his father, a law firm. He worked for the Attorney General Anthony J. Celebrezze and Lee Fisher as a consultant.

In the 2006 congressional elections, he was elected to succeed the retiring Robert Ney to the U.S. House of Representatives. His seat he could defend 2008. However, in 2010 he lost his seat to Bob Gibbs. Last Space was a member of the Committee on Energy and Commerce. He was also a member of the Blue Dog Coalition.

Space lives in Dover, is married to Mary and father of two. He is Greek Orthodox faith.
