Linda Sánchez

Linda T. Sánchez ( born January 28, 1969 in Orange, California) is an American politician.

Linda Sánchez is the younger sister of Congressman Loretta Sanchez. Her family was originally from Mexico; it has a total of six siblings. She studied first at the University of California at Berkeley. After a subsequent law studies at the University of California at Los Angeles and her 1995 was admitted as a lawyer, she began to work in this profession. Here she specialized in employment law. In 1998, she became an active member of the electricians' union IBEW. In 2000, she was treasurer of the Central Labor Council in Orange County. Politically, she joined the Democratic Party.

In the congressional elections of 2002, Linda Sánchez was the 39th electoral district of California in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where they on 3 January 2003, the successor of Ed Royce took, who joined in the 40th district. After the previous four elections they can exercise their mandate in Congress today. In this time of war in Iraq and the military mission in Afghanistan fell. Sánchez is the highest -ranking member of the Democrats in the Ethics Committee and also sits on the Judiciary Committee and in one of its subcommittees.

She is married to his second wife since 2009 and has her private residence in Lakewood. Together with her sister Loretta it is so far the only female sibling pair that is party to the convention.
