Jeff Denham

Jeffrey John " Jeff" Denham ( born July 29, 1967 in Hawthorne, California) is an American politician. Since 2011 he represents the state of California in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Jeff Denham attended Atascadero High School and then to 1985 the Morro Bay High School. Subsequently, he studied until 1989 at Victor Valley Junior College, and in 1992 at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. In the meantime, he served in the years 1984-1988 in the U.S. Air Force, the Reserve he served until 2000. He then worked as a private entrepreneur. He runs to this day the company Denham Plastics, which manufactures reusable containers for agriculture. In addition, he maintains in Merced County, a farm on which he grows almonds.

Politically, Denham joined the Republican Party. Between 2002 and 2010 he was a member of the Senate of California. In the congressional elections of 2010 he was in the 19th electoral district of California in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of not more candidates George Radanovich on January 3, 2011. Denham is married and has two children.
