Pasquotank County, North Carolina

Pasquotank County is a county located in the state of North Carolina of the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat), Elizabeth City, which was named after the wife of Adam Tooley, who donated the land for the site.

Geography

The County is located in northeastern North Carolina, is in the east about 35 km from the Atlantic Ocean, located in the north about 10 miles from Virginia and has an area of 750 square kilometers, of which 588 square kilometers are water surface. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Camden County, Perquimans County and Gates County.
