Sandbanks-Nationalpark
The Sandbanks National Park (English Sandbanks National Park ) is an 8.4 -acre national park in Queensland, Australia. It is located within the Great Barrier Reef and is thus part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage.
The National Park is located 390 km north-west of Cairns on the east coast of Cape York Peninsula in the Coral Sea. The islands are Stewart Point north of Princess Charlotte Bay, 100 kilometers east of Coen and 275 kilometers north-west of Cooktown.
In the vicinity are in the Coral Sea National Parks Claremont Isles and Flinders Group on the mainland KULLA ( McIlwraith Range) and Lama Lama.
