Halifax-Bay-Wetlands-Nationalpark

The Halifax Bay Wetlands National Park (English Halifax Bay Wetlands National Park ) is an approximately 18 square kilometer national park in Queensland, Australia.

Location

The park is located in the region of North Queensland. It is located about 80 kilometers northwest of Townsville and 20 kilometers southeast of Ingham. There is no public access or visitor facilities in the park.

In the neighborhood of the National Park Hinchinbrook Iceland, Iceland Orpheus and Paluma Range lie.

Flora and Fauna

Salt meadows and herbaceous vegetation are predominant on the salt-rich alluvial soils. The flat, coastal terrain is the breeding ground of fishes, mud crabs and crayfish.
