Hull-River-Nationalpark
The Hull River National Park (English: Hull River National Park ) is a national park in northeastern Australian state of Queensland. In the National Park of the estuary of the River Hull is protected.
Location
It is located 1275 km northwest of Brisbane and 10 kilometers southeast of Tully.
In the vicinity of the national parks Djiru, Mount Mackay, Family Islands and Iceland are Goold.
Flora and Fauna
About two -thirds of the National Park area consists of mangrove forests in the estuary of the River Hull, while one-third of swamp forests is where prevail Myrtenheiden and moisture- loving eucalypts.
The park is part of the Coastal Wet Tropics Important Bird Area, which was designated by BirdLife International as such because it is important for the conservation of birds of the tropical coast rainforest.
In the area of the park, the average annual rainfall is 3,600 millimeters.
Culture
The former Aboriginesmission Hull River Aboriginal settlement lay on the territory of today's national parks.
