Triunia-Nationalpark

The Triunia National Park (English Triunia National Park ) is a 34 -acre national park in Queensland, Australia.

Location

It is located about 92 kilometers north of Brisbane and 150 kilometers south of Hervey Bay in the Wide Bay Burnett region on the Sunshine Coast. From Nambour on the Bruce Highway, follow the Nambour Mapleton Road towards Mapleton. At about half-way branches off to the south from the Dulong Road, which passes after three kilometers of the National Park. In the park itself there are no roads or visitor facilities.

In the neighborhood of the National Park Mapleton, Mapleton Falls, Eudlo Creek and Ferntree Creek lie.

Fora and Fauna

The National Park protects up to 260 m above sea level, coastal, sub-tropical rainforest.

Different birds have been sighted in the park, including the ( Alectura lathami ) Pacific Baza ( Aviceda subcristata ), Pheasant Coucal ( Centropus phasianinus ) and the bush chicken. In addition, four different species of plants from the family of the silver tree plants are native to the park, all of which are classified as endangered, including Bopple Nut (Macadamia ternifolia ), Macadamia Nut (Macadamia integrifolia ), Triunia robusta and ball nut ( Floydia praealta ).
