The 123rd Wimbledon Championships took place from 22 June to 5 July 2009 in London, United Kingdom. Was hosted by the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Defender of the single was Rafael Nadal in the men's and Venus Williams in the women. In the men's doubles were Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic, in women's doubles Serena Williams and Venus Williams, the defending champion. Samantha Stosur and Bob Bryan were the defending champions in the mixed doubles.
In the Men's Singles Roger Federer won for the sixth time in his seventh final appearance in a row ( record ). Serena Williams won the women's singles for the third time. In the men's doubles defended Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic, in women's doubles Serena Williams and Venus Williams their titles. The title in mixed doubles won Anna -Lena Grönefeld and Mark Knowles.

The title in the juniors won the unseeded Russian Andrey Kuznetsov, who was able to prevail in the final in three sets 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 against qualifier Jordan Cox ( United States).
Junior Women Individual
In the juniors, the Thai and number four -seeded Noppawan Lertcheewakarn prevailed. In the final she won in three sets 3:6, 6:3 and 6:1 against the top-seeded Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic.
