Knox County (Kentucky)

Knox County is a county located in the state of Kentucky in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Barboursville named, it was named after James Barbour, who provided the land for the county courthouse are available. History

Knox County was formed on December 19, 1799 from parts of Lincoln County. It was named after Henry Knox, a General and U.S. Secretary of War.
