The list of cities in the People's Republic of China provides an overview of the development of the population of the larger urban settlements of the People's Republic of China, so the cities in a geographical sense. Overview

The Administrative divisions of the People's Republic of China covers provinces, direct-controlled cities, special administrative regions and autonomous areas.
