Brad Schneider

Bradley Scott "Brad" Schneider ( born August 20, 1961 in Denver, Colorado) is an American politician. Since 2013 he represents the state of Illinois in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Brad Schneider attended until 1976, the Cherry Creek High School in Denver and then studied until 1983 at Northwestern University in Evanston Industrial Engineering. He then worked on a kibbutz in Israel. He then returned to Northwestern University, where he studied at the Business School of the University connected until 1988. Between 1997 and 2003 he was employed in the management of a life insurance company. After that, he served as director of a service society. In 2008 he founded his own consulting firm.

Politically, Schneider joined the Democratic Party. In the congressional elections of 2012 he was in the tenth electoral district of Illinois in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he succeeded the Republican Robert Dold took on January 3, 2013, he had beaten in the elections with 50,5:49,5 percent of the vote.

Brad Schneider is married and father of two children.
