John G. Fary

John George Fary ( born April 11, 1911 in Chicago, Illinois, † June 7, 1984 ) was an American politician. Between 1975 and 1983 he represented the state of Illinois in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

John Fary attended the common schools and then completed the Holy Trinity High School and Loyola University. He also attended the Real Estate School of Illinois and the Midwest Institute. Later he hit as a member of the Democratic Party launched a political career. Between 1955 and 1975 he was a delegate in the House of Representatives from Illinois.

After the death of Rep. John C. Kluczynski Fary was at the due election for the fifth seat from Illinois as his successor in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he took up his new mandate on July 8, 1975. After three re- elections he could remain until January 3, 1983 at the Congress. In 1982, he was not nominated by his party for re-election. John Fary died on June 7, 1984 in his hometown of Chicago.
