Ware County, Georgia
The Ware County is a county located in the state of Georgia in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Waycross, named after the fact that meet railway lines from six different directions here.
Geography
The County is located in southeastern Georgia, Florida and is adjacent to the east about 70 km from the Atlantic. It has an area of 2347 square kilometers, of which ten square kilometers of water surface, and borders clockwise to the following counties: Bacon County, Pierce County, Brantley County, Charlton County, Clinch County, Atkinson County and Coffee County.
Ware County was formed on December 15, 1824 60 County of Georgia from portions of Appling County. It was named after Nicholas Ware, a mayor of Augusta and later U.S. Senator.

According to the census in 2000 lived in Ware County 35.483 people in 13,475 households and 9,297 families. The population density was 15 people per square kilometer. The racial the population was made up of 69.65 percent White, 28.01 percent Black or African American, 0.18 percent Native Americans, 0.48 percent Asian American, 0.03 percent Pacific Islander, and 0.99 percent from other races; 0.66 percent were descended from two or more races. 1.94 percent of the population were Hispanic or Latino.
Of the 13,475 households out of which 30.7 percent have children under the age of 18 living with them. 50.3 percent were married couples living together, 14.8 percent were single mothers and 31.0 percent were non-families. 27.9 percent of all households and 12.3 percent lived in people aged 65 years or older. The average household size was 2.47 and the average family size was 3.01.
24.8 percent of the population were under 18 years old, 9.1 percent between 18 to 24, 28.1 percent between 25 and 44, 22.6 percent between 45 and 64 and 15.4 percent were 65 years or older. The average age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 97.6 males statistically every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.5 males.
The median income for a household was $ 28,360, and the median income for a family $ 34,372. Males had a median income of $ 26,910, women $ 20,424. The per capita income was $ 14,384. 15.9 percent of families and 20.5 percent of the population lived below the poverty line.
