Donley County, Texas

Geography

The County is located north- west of the geographic center of Texas in the Texas Panhandle and is located about 130 km to the north and to the east about 50 km from the state of Oklahoma away. History

Donley County was formed in 1876 from parts of Bexar County. It was named for Stockton P. Donley, one of the first lawyers in Texas.
